Written by Niha Hasan

"Everyone has bad days sometimes, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel."

Rating: 5/5

Heal-Ink is a collection of true stories, poetry, articles and some intense artworks. These stories are from people who have overcome their mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and more, who are now leading a better life. Basically, this is an anthology which is designed to be a therapeutic tool to motivate you, help you heal your inner wounds, and battle your hidden demons.⠀

This is the most motivational book I’ve read so far this year. If you’re experiencing a lot of pressure in your life right now, I would recommend to grab this book. If you think life is treating you badly right now, read this book. It will help you to fight against feelings of hopelessness, and will make you feel that you are not alone.⠀

As an individual who has been going through tough times lately, I related to so many things in this book. I loved reading it, because each page reassures me that it’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, frustrated, scared and anxious sometimes. Everyone has bad days sometimes, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.⠀

This book has planted some beautiful thoughts for the reader to find which indicate that they are not the first to go through times of struggle, and even the idea that they're not going to be the last to go through it. Also, this book has made me understand that there is hope no matter how many times your brain tells you there isn’t. ⠀

Therefore, Heal-Ink is a beautifully written anthology by Bangladeshi writers. Everybody should give it a try because this book has the potential to heal your soul.
